Denise has been a godsend. Being first time parents was extremely nerve racking, and we had what you would call a velcro baby that was inseparable from me. Due to my husband's schedule as a medical student, our families being out of state, and how demanding our baby was, we basically operated on minimal sleep as baby had to be sleeping on or near one of us, which meant only one of us could sleep at a time (and for only a couple hours as my husband would have to go to work early in the morning and study late into the evenings). We tried other night nannies, but our baby would just be fussing and screaming for hours. Fortunately, Denise reached out to us and was able to fit us into her schedule immediately. Due to her expertise, technical skills, and knowledge base, within the first night, our baby barely made any sound and actually slept in alone in the bassinet within the nursery for an extended period of time, which was something we could only do for 20 minutes maximum even during the day let alone at night! Denise not only gets the baby to sleep in his own room and bed (without someone's hand resting on him), but also has a progression procedure that she runs through with us. She even covers structure that we need to maintain throughout the day or on nights she isn't able to cover. Even for nights that she doesn't have availability and we need help, Denise has a partner that is well trained in her ways who can also cover some night shifts. If you hire Denise, I would advise to let her work her magic and just follow her game plan. She asks all the right questions to get the information to formulate a plan and executes extremely well. Denise is worth much more than what she charges, and if/when we have another baby, she will be among the first to know as we will be booking her well in advanced.
