I have more than 10 years of in-home care and hospital experience. Experience with Alzheimer's and dementia, hospice (end of life care), injuries and illnesses. I can assist with personal care needs, bathing, feeding, meal prep, light housekeeping . I consider myself pretty handy with household maintenance. I can also assist with transportation to appointments, errands or shopping.

Denise went above and beyond caring for my husband. She was always on, never called in sick, and helped me with other household duties. She was very kind to both of us and I couldn’t have gotten through a very hard time without her.  She’s the greatest!

It's been very easy to have Denise as an aide. I've needed her for help dressing and for help around the house. When helping me get dressed, she's relaxed in what could be an awkward situation. That has helped me be relaxed. She's comfortable with the job and doesn't hesitate to do what's needed. With the work around the house, she remembers from one visit to the next what's needed and takes the initiative to go ahead and get the jobs done. She's an experienced CNA who takes the care of others seriously. I highly recommend her if you need help. 

Denise is a wonderful caregiver for my husband. No only is she competent, but extremely caring and professional. I trust her to meet our needs reliably. I also think my dog likes her better than either one of us!!

Denise cared for my mother with Alzheimer's Disease for 5 months this year - 40 hrs/week.  Denise is 5 star-always on time, patient, caring, always steady in spite of caregiving challenges.  Is not fazed by any situation.  I always get my mother was safe and well cared for.  She is also willing to help with food prep -she is an excellent cook!  I hope she can help us again next summer.

Denise provided excellent care for my mother in law for an extended period of time.  She provided great companionship, dealt with challenging situations with sensitivity and always showed up. Denise is a caring person . She is helpful and is willing to do anything. She has worked for us several months and is completely dependable.

We originally asked Denise to assist with transportation needs for our mom, who is experiencing vision problems.  However, in addition, she has assisted with other household tasks (ex. fixing showerheads and window blinds) which is extremely helpful and gone on walks and to museums/stores.  Denise is really willing to accommodate what our may mother need on any given day she comes over. Our mom is really appreciative of all that she does. 

Denise’s care for my parent has impacted our lives in the most positive way. Parent looks forward to Denise’s visits. Denise’s gentle, soothing manner has helped parent immensely; especially with personal care, such as showering. Parent is a former healthcare professional and rates Denise’s ministrations as exceptionally thorough and caring. 

Denise also spends social time with parent which helps alleviate parent’s isolation since they’ve become home bound and many friends and relatives have are infirm themselves or died. Social interaction outside of family has greatly improved parent’s disposition.

Denise’s care has enabled me to go to my own appointments, shop or just take care of my own tasks. Respite is priceless. I’m relieved to have a caregiver like Denise that I trust completely. We are so lucky to have found her.

Denise has worked with my father several weekends this past summer. She has been reliable and clearly communicated with us. I cannot express how thankful I am to her for giving us the ability to get away from home on several occasions for days at a time. You would be very fortunate if you are able to work with her as your caregiver. I would definitely contact Denise again after my dad’s rehabilitation placement. 

Denise likes to keep busy and goes above and beyond just meeting the needs of those she cares for. In addition to patient care duties, she willingly steps in when needed to cook, clean, complete easy home repairs, and keep patients engaged in conversation and activities.

Denise cared for my parents for five years until they passed at ages 93 and 96, and we always felt they were in good hands when she was with them. She managed their medical needs as well as meals, cleaning, socializing with them and much more.
