About Denise

Empowering elementary students or special-needs children to reach their full potential has been my primary focus for the past 30 years. I have five children and three grandchildren ! My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I specialize in Science, Art, Music, Drama, Dance, and Special Education. To ensure each student thrives, I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. I keep students engaged by celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement. Because I value open communication, I work closely with parents to create a supportive, trusting environment. My greatest joy is witnessing that magical "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am eager to help your student discover their unique strengths and succeed in their academic journey. I look forward to hearing back from you.
