About Denisa

I am a Registered Nurse (BSN) and experienced caregiver with a strong background supporting children and families. I am also a mother of two boys, ages 27 and 10, which gives me a deep understanding of children's developmental needs. During my nursing clinical rotations, I gained hands-on experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I also worked with Community Action Marin Head Start in San Rafael, assisting with health screenings and supporting children in various school settings across Marin County. I have experience supporting children with ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related challenges, PTSD, depression, and behavioral or emotional regulation difficulties, and I approach each child with patience, consistency, and compassion. I am BLS/CPR certified and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certified and committed to providing safe, attentive, and supportive care.
