About Denine

I am a hands-on, child-centered educator who loves to do crafts, read books, play games, and nurture a child's imagination. I have recently successfully launched my two homeschooled children and want to make use of the knowledge that I have gathered over the years. I was a nanny for several years before I had my children, and I taught multiple ages at a homeschool resource center while I raised them. I have worked in day care centers and preschools. I have an emergency teaching credential, am first aid and CPR certified, and have professional experience teaching multiple subjects. I recently qualified as a care driver for HopSkipDrive, which entailed passing a good driver certification, a national FBI background check, a vehicle safety inspection, as well as registering with Trust Line. I do not have the energy I had when nannying in my 20's, but I am experienced, reliable, competent, loving, creative, and fun.
