About Delicia

Delicia has been an incredible part of my family from 2022 to 2026, caring for my daughter for two years and then my son for the last two years (starting when they were just 5 months and 4 months old). Delicia is an above-and-beyond caregiver with the biggest heart and is incredibly engaged. Because I often work from home, I get to hear her talking, singing, and playing with my child all day long. She drives and loves taking them out to parks, playgrounds, and various activities. Every year for my children's birthdays, she even plans and hosts parties for them with the local nannies and mothers she has gotten to know. She is always so thoughtful of my children and showers them with love and gifts. I think it’s really worth mentioning what stands out most is how much she genuinely loves her job and her life. Delicia is surrounded by her family in the area and we often talk about the importance of family and community in our lives. Her exuberance and positivity come out in everything she does—the way she shows up for work, the way she sees my child, and the way she engages with me and even my extended family when they come to visit. She has gotten quite close with my mother because she is just so warm and kind. I have always had the utmost trust in her and never once had to worry when my kids were in her care. Delicia also takes her job seriously. She is never late and is fully present (and is not on her phone). She has a tremendous sense of responsibility. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her.
