About Delaney

I have 15+ years of childcare experience, starting as the oldest of four siblings and 20+ cousins. I've nannied three girls (ages 4 months to 4 years) for two years, supported elementary students through remote learning, and spent six summers I'm comfortable with kids of all ages, from infants to teens. My approach centers on curiosity, creativity, and a safe, supportive environment. I love following kids' interests, whether that's crafts, outdoor play, games, or reading, and I'm equally happy helping with homework, making meals, and keeping routines on track. I'm patient, attentive, and big on building connections. Originally from Milwaukee, I moved to DC in 2023 for grad school and recently finished my MBA/MPP at Georgetown. I speak conversational Spanish, love pets, and have a clean driving record (no car in the city). I'm renewing my CPR and First Aid certifications.
