About Deena

I'm a doctoral student studying School-Clinical Child Psychology and a recent NYU graduate with a degree in Psychology. I have eight years of experience working with children through babysitting and other childcare roles, and I truly love getting to know and caring for the kids I work with. For the past year, I've also worked as a psychosocial assistant at a special education elementary school, primarily supporting children with autism. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with children with a range of developmental, communication, and behavioral needs. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I love finding activities that fit each child's interests, whether that's playing outside, doing arts and crafts, reading, or playing games. I also value open communication with parents and am happy to follow each family's routines, rules, and parenting style.
