About Deborah

I like caring for seniors because I am able to use my natural abilities, skills, experience and knowledge to improve the lives of others. I started caring for seniors when I was a teenager and my grandmother needed help. Later, I went on to work in senior living in life enrichment and then admissions. Since then I have been working with seniors in the home setting. I have helped seniors stay physically, mentally and emotionally healthy through medication management, nutrition, exercise and cognitive activities. I have experience with memory care and I continue to learn about brain health and overall health. In my spare time, I like to exercise, garden, cook, read and listen to podcasts and spend time with friends and family. My skills include: the ability to simplify and manage systems, good interpersonal skills, problem solving & seeing challenging tasks and all tasks through, conscientiously. I am able to anticipate the needs of others and manage my time effectively.
