I'd describe myself as friendly, engaging and a good listener. I'm energetic and proactive. I like caring for seniors because I remember how difficult it was when my elderly mom lived with me & I needed help caring for her. Also, I think seniors have so much to offer because of their life experience, and I enjoy the interaction. I'm looking for a job that, for now, is part time evenings and/or weekends. I'm currently working a full time job. This may change in the near future. I started caring for seniors when my elderly mother moved in with me after my father died. She passed away in 2009. I've worked for many years as a personal assistant for older adults. For fun I belong to an historical dance group. I enjoy movies, especially classic films, and listening to music. I also like to walk for exercise. I'm a caring, empathetic person who enjoys interacting with and helping others. My skills include meal preparation, companionship and transportation to appointments.
