I have experience giving companionship, light housekeeping and transportation for aging, early stage dementia and chronically ill family members. I am able to assist with meal preparation and medication reminders. I'd describe my personality as gentle, compassionate and helpful. I like caring for seniors because they are a generation deserving gentle care and friendly companionship. I'm looking for a job that would allow me to spend time with a senior to ensure they have a well cared for and happy day. I started caring for seniors when my grandparents began to exhibit chronic illness and early dementia. I offered them help with tasks and an ear to listen. In my spare time, I make meals for church families, serve in church nursery, and enjoy exercising. One thing you should know about me is I take the time to make people feel valued and appreciated. My skills include watching out for safety. Listening to the needs of others. Striving to make a person feel like they matter.
