About Donna

I cared for my parents around the clock for 4 years with help from sisters till their death. I did grocery shopping, doctors appointments, meals, showers, medication , nail maintenance, hair cuts, house cleaning, whatever was needed and companionship. I'd describe my personality as kind, loving and helpful I like caring for seniors because I want their last days or recovery days to be good. I'm looking for a job that gives me a purpose and helps others. I started caring for seniors when my parents needed help. Before that I volunteered at nursing homes a few times. I cared for a friend after a back injury. I drove various people to doctors appointments over the years. In my spare time, I like to sew, quilt, swim, roller skate, spend time with grandkids. One thing you should know about me is even though I am older I am as healthy as many people 20 years younger than me. I have no chronic conditions. My skills include personal care , home maintenance, running errands.
