My name is Deborah. I consider myself a home caretaker, as I feel it is a job that not only applies to being a nanny but also maintaining a home. I have a BS in Human Development with a minor in Spanish and another minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. I moved to Spain in 1993 and raised my 3 children (16, 22, and 24). I returned to Lexington in 2012 for 1 year so my children could live the American culture. During that year I worked at the First Circle Learning and I am EEC certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I would also like to mention that I am fluent in Spanish.

I have known Deborah since the summer of 2012. She was in the process of moving into the same town with her children from Spain and was looking for employment. As I was anticipating a large volume of guests in the summer I hired her to help me. In Spain she has managed a restaurant and those skills were very helpful for me. In addition I appreciated the fact that she was a native Spanish speaker. I have been trying to get my children fluent in Spanish but have not been able to create an immersion environment that is usually needed for young students. Very quickly she managed to earn my trust. Deborah was very efficient, punctual and a quick learner. We are from India so there were a lot of nuances in how we looked after our guests and she was able to adapt quickly. In addition she helped me manage a large fund raiser for a local charity that was hosted in our home in early Fall. Her strengths are *Boundless patience and good humor *Desire and ability to learn new things and share her own knowledge *Hard work and willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done *Ability to work with a team I will gladly recommend her to any employer.
