About Debbie

Learning is both fun and successful with a happy rapport between teacher and student. I am a retired teacher with over 30 years experience. I had a very enjoyable and successful career teaching 3rd-6th grade students. I am Arizona and Texas Gifted Certified and have taught in the Gifted and Talented programs in Mesa and in the Dallas, TX area. I'd describe my personality as happy, creative, and genuine. I like tutoring because I miss teaching. I'm looking for a job that allows me to give a child a sense of success and understanding. I have tutored for over 30 years to small groups in my class that needed more help. In my spare time, I like to compete at horse shows. I particularly love teaching English, writing skills, and math. I also have a Science Degree and love science experiments, science fairs, and other science competitions.
