About Deanna

Hello! I am a former classroom teacher for 6th grade, but have quite a bit of experience with all ages. I recently left the classroom to attend graduate school at CSU this coming fall. Before being in the classroom I worked in outdoor education where I created curriculum to entice hands on learning. I believe in experiential, fun learning where a child is safe to make mistakes and learn. In my early 20's I was a nanny for a family with three children and spent the summer with them. I am flexible, attentive, and consistent and believe I would be a great candidate for this position. My experience and passion for equitable, rigorous education parallels with my desire for fun and exciting learning. I hope to hear back from you!
