Maintain each clients dignity, encourage each clients while making sure all the needs of the clients are met. Caring for the elderly community started when I was young. I would go around checking my elderly neighbors to see if they needed any help. I did odd jobs for them. Such as going to the store, taking out trash washing dishes . I accompany a few of my elderly neighbors to the laundromat. This is what sparked my interest in caregiving. Hobbies: reading, cooking, vacationing, time with family I worked in the healthcare field over 26 years. I am very well verse in elder care. I also worked in the disabled community as well. Skills: bathing/grooming, cooking, cleaning, errands, advocating, Doc appointments, medication prompts, companionship, respite care, Laundry, shopping, mobility assistance and dementia/memory care
