I have a relative that has an autistic child and he is a very special child. He has some special needs that need to be attended to a little longer than an average child, but it has become such a major part of his development that it is just like getting up and putting your clothes on and it has to be done. Also, I am experienced with dementia and pre-dementia patients. I love them. They have a story to tell and I listen and they can still sense who is not going to harm them and who will and they gain your trust.
