About David

Hi! I'm David, and I recently graduated from NYU with honors and a 3. 95 GPA. My studies focused on history and political thought, especially how societies develop and understand their own narratives. I have a strong background in research, analytical writing, and work across history, English, philosophy, and the social sciences. While new to formal tutoring, I've supported students academically through mentoring and leadership roles. As a Resident Assistant and Program Assistant, I've helped first-year and high school students improve their writing, build study skills, and understand complex material. I excel at breaking down challenging ideas in a clear, engaging, and fun way. I'm currently applying to master's programs in the teaching of high school social studies, with the goal of becoming a classroom educator. I'm passionate about helping students gain confidence, improve their writing, and connect what they're learning with the world around them!
