Hello, I'm a teacher's assistant and a college graduate with four years of experience with children, including those with special needs. I truly enjoy the work that I do, finding out exactly what a student is struggling with and helping them to succeed. To teach children these days, it's very important to personalize instruction. I like learning about a child's interests and then relating those to the lessons. This provides them with an incentive to overcome their academic weaknesses. I also like finding the most efficient method to circumvent these weaknesses. Everyone learns in a different way, I want to find out how. :) I love working with a wide variety of children. Most of the children I've been teaching for the past four years were underprivileged. I've also taught under a variety of circumstances, such as on a one-on-one basis, in small tutoring groups, and classrooms with more than 20 students. I completed several long-term substitute teaching assignments in kindergarten, first, second, and third grade. I look forward to tutoring your child! P.S.
