About Dave

I am first, a father of two wonderful adult children, ages 23 and 18. I began my early childhood life as a parent of those two while I was an elementary school teacher. I became an infant teacher in Bloomington, Indiana in 2003, and fell in love with being a caregiver of the very young. I finished my Ed. D. in ECE in 2015, most of that time working full-time as a child care administrator. Now I am a Visiting Professor in ECE and I have the beautiful option to work this summer or just prep for next semester, but I would really like to stay connected to kids, and I want to write some articles about caring for infants, so I thought this might be a way to not only help others but also stay connected with the children I am trying to teach about.
