About Darrick

I'd describe my personality as patient, insightful, supportive. I like tutoring because I like building deeper connections with one on to get to know my student better and understand their strengths and their struggles. I'm looking for a job that I am looking to make a meaningful impact with the students I work with and visibly see their progress. I started tutoring in college during my undergrad when I worked in the writing center helping other students who were struggling with college level writing. In my spare time, I like to I am a huge reader in my spare time, I enjoy being outside in nature. I love building Legos as much as I love reading. One thing you should know about me is i'm deeply committed to understanding how each student learns best and I adapt my approach to help them grow with confidence and clarity. My skills include my top. Three skills are differentiation, clear communication, and patience and encouragement.
