I have a undergraduate degree in literature and a TEFL Certification to teach English to non native speakers. My professional background is in Higher Education. Teaching to the student is the best way to describe my method for tutoring; this allows me to understand a students learning style/ ability. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students overcome obstacles in achieving their academic goals. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility needed in my schedule and allows me to use my skills in tutoring. I started tutoring when I was in undergraduate school. In my spare time, I like to hike, sew and bake. One thing you should know about me is I that I am highly effective and reliable. My skills include reading/ reading comprehension, writing/ essay writing, grammar and vocabulary, study skills, and reading strategies.
