About Darla

We hired Darla 10 months ago to care for my 88 year old father suffering with advanced dementia. From the first day of caring for my father to his last day, Darla was the most caring, skilled, attentive, joyful and respectful caregiver. My father would ask who was coming tonight and when I would tell him Darla, he would light up. She took care of him four nights per week working 12 hour shifts. She would often show up early and often stay late. We felt so comfortable going to bed each night knowing he was in the best of hands. If a colleague was unable to work their shift, Darla would always fill in with sometimes very short notice. Darla made his coffee every morning so special that he would often tell her he would marry her if she would give him the recipe. We all grew to love Darla and consider her family. She always treated my father as if her were her own sweet dad. If you are fortunate for her to choose to care for your loved one, you will be forever grateful. Thank you Darla
