About Darianna

I like tutoring because I enjoy having a positive impact on children's education. I'm currently an FIU student studying to become an elementary education teacher, so it is a passion of mine to teach young minds. I started tutoring in high school for an after school program. I assisted students in a multitude of subjects such as english, science, and math but I had specialty in math and chemistry. In my spare time, I like to create art either with digital or physical mediums, watch and analyze movies, and build legos. I would say I am a creative person, so many of my hobbies involve the arts in some form! One thing you should know about me is I will not try to teach your child in just one way. If I notice they are not receptive to one strategy, I will work with them to find a way that makes the most sense to them. Children process information differently all the time, and I would like to adapt to their thinking rather than changing it.
