About Daria

I like working with kids because it allows me to act like a kid again! I love playing with kids and getting the chance to be silly again and remember how fun it was to be discovering the world for the first time! I also love seeing the kids develop over time, it feels a lot more rewarding than most other jobs! I started consistently babysitting when I was 16, so I've been doing it for about five years! Before I did it formally, I was babysitting for neighbors and family friends for a few years before that! Growing up, my mom owned a daycare and a play place, so I was always around kids and taught how to prioritize safety! My top three childcare skills are playing/entertainment, cooking and cleaning, as well as other household management, and making sure the kids under my care stay as safe as possible! I'm very active and can keep kids entertained through physical activity and games! Safety is always my number one priority, and I like to make sure the kids feel comfortable with me!
