About Darden

I love kids and have six years of experience with childcare. I'm passionate about supporting families and providing reliable care. My previous babysitting roles gave me the opportunity to really engage in the kids lives from fun activities to learning and care. I've taken care of kids from age 1-12 (and their older teenage siblings). I love engaging kids with fun, hands-on activities like arts and crafts and nature walks. I've been told I'm very calming to be around, and creative and friendly too. Kids love to play games with me from imaginative games to playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents through their preferred method, offering updates and texts. I'm also happy to help with cooking, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I am CPR Trained. Seeing kids light up when I'm around is what makes this work so rewarding for me!
