About Darci

I like working with kids because I love helping them grow, learn, and develop is something I've always had an inclination for. I enjoy showing children their own potential and helping them gain confidence. It is so rewarding to watch a child learn something new or overcome a challenge. I want to make a positive impact on children's lives. Throughout high school I babysat for one family on a regular basis, and then other families whenever I was available and needed. At 18, I took on a nanny position for a family friend. Throughout the school year, I would do school pickup, after school activities, and dinner prep. Throughout the summers I worked for them full time. My skills include having lots of patience, being able to remain calm while also staying in control. I'm a problem-solver, possessing the ability to think quickly and overcome obstacles. I carry a lot of empathy and compassion towards others. Not everything is black and white, thoughts can be expressed differently.
