About Laney

I am a college student currently pursuing my Master of Social Work with a certificate in School Social Work. I have worked as an Associate Teacher in a kindergarten classroom setting as well as in a Montessori preschool setting. I've taken early childhood development courses throughout my highschool and college education. I have a deep passion for working with children and love getting to see them grow and learn about the world! I am CPR and First Aid certified and have experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. I love animals of all kinds, even the scary ones. In my free time, I love to crochet stuffed animals, read books, and bake! I love working with kids because they bring light to the space around them. They are full of joy and wonderment for the world. Their curiosity and excitement for life enriches my own, and I love sharing in those special moments of discovery as they develop and grow!
