About Daphne

Hi! I m a 27-year-old who graduated from Eckerd college and currently teach 2nd grade ELA, and last year I taught 5th grade math and science. I am also studying for my masters degree in elementary education. During COVID, I assisted a Kindergartener with online learning, and the 2 years after that I homeschooled a 2nd and 3rd grader, and the next year when they were in 3rd and 4th grade. I have worked at a gym daycare with children 6 weeks-12 years old and have babysat for all ages since I was 15. I also have experience with environmental education and tutoring, I am certified in Project Wild and Aquatic Wild so I have many fun environmental activities to do. I am energetic and love running around outside with the kids, doing crafts or reading or whatever keeps the kids entertained! I am also CPR and first aid certified. I am looking for a position for before school starts in August, and could help with pick ups/ afternoon and night shifts during the school year!
