About Daphne

Making a positive and meaningful impact in children's lives truly motivates me. I discovered my passion for childcare through babysitting, tutoring, and volunteering, where I've supported children academically, emotionally, and socially. I have experience tutoring in both English and Spanish, helping children build confidence in language and communication. I've also volunteered with small groups of children ages 4-12, which taught me how to adapt to different learning styles, manage group dynamics, and create a positive, engaging environment. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable, and I enjoy connecting with children through outdoor activities, board games, puzzles, and educational play. I am an undergraduate student at the UT. I am comfortable following household rules and routines, value consistency, and work closely with parents. I communicate openly in person and am happy to follow each family's preferred communication style.
