Cooking/Baking: Studied at the Culinary Institute of America in NY. I also own my own cake and confectionery business that is just getting started (hence this profile). I'm a great cook and I can make a mean cake and sugar centerpiece. My chocolate ganache is unparalleled, and there is no rival to my Citrus Nut Cake filled with Hazelnut Praline Swiss Buttercream. I also have my own line of gluten-free cookies (not on the market yet, but one day soon, I hope). I'm also an experienced cooking/baking instructor. Party/Event Planning: Kid's parties, dinner parties, Thanksgiving meals in other people's homes, you name it. Large budget, small budget; it can happen, you just have to be realistic, and I can help you with putting things in perspective and getting that party planning done. Your guests will be quite impressed, even if you don't have a Hollywood budget. I have a keen eye for detail and design, as witnessed via my cakes, cookies and other sugary confections. Organizing: I've had to reprimand friends for having messy, disorganized kitchens and closets. Unacceptable! Don't make me go there. Travel Arrangements and Scheduling: Need help planning that trip to Italy? I can find you some great deals and suggest some beautiful hot spots. If you need your house manager to go with you (that would be me, hint hint), no problem! Baby Sitting: I take care of three little bears on a regular basis (4. 5, 2 and 6 months of age) for different friends. This includes changing diapers. I'm the adopted uncle. They adore me and I them. That said, we all have different philosophies and values when it comes to raising and rearing little ones. My values and philosophies should coincide to some extent with those for whom I seek to child sit. While I can appreciate differences in perspectives, my preferences lean toward assisting parents that are: young, hip, indie/alternative, open-minded, progressive, culturally and ethnically aware, art and music loving souls like me!
