About Danny

Hi! I'm Danny (they/them, he/him) In my professional career, I've worked with children in various capacities. After obtaining a BS in Psychology, I knew I wanted to work with children in some way. The majority of my post-college career has been in the field of ABA, working with children with Autism. I spent many years as a Behavioral Technician, implementing 1:1 behavioral modification services with compassionate care. Once I felt that I had reached my full potential as a Technician, I became a Technician Trainer and Safety Specialist for my most recent employer. Now, I am making a little bit of a career shift. I want to attend hair design school so that I can start the process of opening up a hair salon catered exclusively to children and adults with Autism and sensory sensitivities. I plan to attend school in January. Supporting my community by nannying and babysitting is something that I'd like to do as I'm getting ready for and attending beauty school.
