About Vanessa

I have always had a natural connection with children. As the oldest of six, I gained early experience caring for my younger siblings-three of whom have ADHD so I am very comfortable with redirection, patience, and supervision. For the past 10+ years, I've worked as a nanny for four families and as a preschool/daycare teacher. I was with my last nanny family for six years and we became very close, but over the past year I have been a stay at home mom to my 2. 5-year-old. I also foster my sister, which has given me a deep understanding of different temperaments, backgrounds, and emotional needs. Childcare has always been a true passion of mine. I enjoy reading, music, cooking, crafts, games, and planning fun and engaging outings. I'm reliable, nurturing, and committed to providing a safe, patient, and positive environment.
