I've been working as a nanny in San Francisco for the past five years and have experience caring for children from infancy through early childhood (5 months to 6 years). I'm naturally warm, nurturing, and highly attuned to emotions, which allows me to create a safe and loving environment for children to thrive. My passion for early childhood led me to become a certified postpartum doula last year, and I'm hoping to work with families long-term-ideally beginning around a baby's arrival and supporting them through important developmental milestones.

We hired Danika for six days of temporary childcare for our 10-month-old daughter. Danika is relatively new to the field and is currently working towards her doula certification. She kept our daughter happily engaged throughout the day by reading books, crawling around the house with her, and enthusiastically rotating through every toy. Our daughter genuinely had the best time with her, even though she has been very scared around new people lately. Danika is a quick study and picks things up fast. She was receptive to feedback, eager to learn our routines, and made sure we were happy. She went above and beyond outside of immediate childcare, helping with tasks like opening packages, doing laundry, and giving new life to our houseplants. Like most new caregivers, she took a couple of days to settle into our home, which was expected and reasonable. Once she settled, she became increasingly confident and proactive. We would absolutely hire Danika again.
