About Danielle

Hi! I'm Danielle an undergraduate student at the UM studying Psychology with focus on childhood development, and I'll be living in Boston this summer. I've been babysitting since I was 13 and have experience with children of all ages, including two summers as a full-time nanny for kids ages 4mo-10yrs. I also founded a nonprofit, Reach for the Stars, where I've led groups of 25-30 children alongside teams of 10-15 high school volunteers since I was 16. Through this experience I have gained a deep understanding of how to engage and support children of all ages and personalities. I've taken multiple developmental psychology courses at both UM and the UC, and worked as a research assistant assessing literacy in preschool students. I bring this knowledge and intention into all aspects of my childcare approach. I'm happy to help around the house, assist with routines, and I'm comfortable with pets!
