About Danielle

I had the pleasure of employing Danielle for nearly six years as our full time nanny. She started with us when my first child was an infant, and stayed with us as our family grew. I really appreciated Danielle’s open communication style. She proactively requested feedback and would check in with us during infant and child developmental stages. She brought suggestions for developmentally appropriate activities, toys, or materials as my children grew which I welcomed. It always felt like she was part of our team. She was willing and able to match our parenting style to provide consistency for our children. My children absolutely love Danielle and see her as part of their family. She provides warm and caring one-on-one attention that makes them feel seen and special. During her time with us my oldest child went through a rough patch emotionally when a grandparent passed, and we truly appreciated how patient and supportive Danielle was with him. There were some long tantrums, but Danielle did not complain or show frustration, and as I worked from home I witnessed how she was consistently calming and kind with him. Her compassion and empathy, assuring him that he was cared about even when his behavior was difficult was a huge support for our whole family. Danielle brings so much energy and enthusiasm to her work, and will lean into what the kids are passionate about to find ways to entertain them. She has a fantastic imagination and can make everything into a fun game for them - even getting buckled into the carseat becomes the start of an adventure for the kids instead of a chore. Danielle is also good about getting out into fresh air, visiting parks, beaches and museums to add variety and socialization. I love that she’ll go out in all sorts of weather to make sure they have time to explore outside and play. Danielle is someone who has a great amount of empathy for children, and approaches each child she works with with kindness, curiosity and enthusiasm for their passions. She’s been an amazing support to our family, and I look forward to continuing to keep in touch with her.
