Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in teaching reading, study skills, as well as ELA and Math for elementary students. I hold a graduate degree and maintain certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence by connecting complex concepts to your child's unique interests. I adapt my methods through active observation, utilizing visual aids and interactive discussions to ensure every student thrives. I prioritize open communication with families to foster a collaborative environment where progress is celebrated. Whether we meet at your home, my home, or the library, I am dedicated to creating a supportive space where those "aha!" moments happen daily.
