Employed as an elderly Caregiver. Assisted clients with Alzheimer's disease. Assisted clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLS), memory care, and hospice care. Arranged for client transport to medical appointments. Assisted clients with dietary needs. Assisted with household needs, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. My main duties concerned taking care of seniors or patients with disabilities (physical or psychological), including getting them out of bed; cleaning/bathing them; positioning them; aiding them with ambulation, exercises, or therapy; accompanying them to medical and physical therapy appointments; reminding them of medication schedules; and helping with day-to-day tasks. I did this both for assigned, scheduled patients as well as for urgent coverage when needed.
