About Monica

I am experienced with providing thoughtful, accepting and engaging companionship with many individuals of many ages and disabilities, including assisting an elderly friend (80+ years old) with errands, driving to appointments, researching/accessing resources and assessing household needs. I have worked with individuals who have autism, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), non-verbal and speech delay disorders, sensory disorders and developmental/cognitive delays. I have assisted with bathing and hygiene, housekeeping, organization, laundry, groceries, menus and meal preparation, scheduling appointments and administering medication. I am compassionate, dependable and reliable. I am intuitive and reflective, able to anticipate needs. I pay close attention to details while asking pertinent questions and communicating what is important to my clients. I believe our seniors are priceless people: full of wisdom, experiences, and insights. Spending time with them is a joyful privilege!
