Helping students unlock their potential is something I take personally. As a Yale undergraduate, JKCS, Language Tutor, and Student Mentor, I bring both academic excellence and genuine mentorship experience to every session. I specialize in English, history, and study skills for students from elementary school through college, with a focus on critical thinking over rote memorization. My approach is adaptive: I observe how you engage with new material and tailor methods accordingly, whether that's visual aids, Socratic discussion, or hands-on practice. I also draw on my experience mentoring nontraditional students through my nonprofit, where I learned that the best support is specific, consistent, and relationship-driven. I hold Mental Health First Aid certification and prioritize clear, ongoing communication with students and their families. Nothing is more rewarding than that moment when something finally clicks.
