About Dan

Hello! My name is Dan and I am the father of 3 daughters. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I recently retired and have decided to spend my time doing what I love - sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for mathematics (algebra through calculus) and science. I tutored throughout college and was an engineering lab instructor my senior year. I have found success primarily with students who may be struggling but are motivated to learn. My approach is to work with students on homework and sample problems as a means of introducing/reviewing fundamental mathematical concepts while allowing them to complete homework and prepare for tests and exams. I am available to meet with your child at your home, a local library, Starbucks, or anyplace that he or she feels comfortable studying. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to participating in your child's success. Thanks! Dan
