About Dana

I was born in France and raised in Austin -- so I grew up with a mix of cultures and a deep appreciation for family, good food, and slowing down. I have 16 years of childcare experience with kids of all ages -- from infants (7 months+) to toddlers and preschoolers. I've done everything from first steps to navigating big feelings. Every child is different, and I believe the best care comes from watching, listening, and meeting them where they are. I especially love the toddler stage. I'm patient and playful -- I'd rather get on the floor and build a fort than stand over a child and direct. With infants, I'm calm and attentive -- following their cues and creating a warm, predictable space for them to explore. I'm fluent in French and English, speak conversational Spanish, and know a bit of Italian. I can weave language into our day through songs, stories, or conversation.
