Hello! I am a state certified Pre-K through 5th grade teacher specializing in reading support and Montessori math. I am also a Licensed Social Worker. I have worked as a lead educator in a grades 1-3 public Montessori classroom for four years and am certified by the American Montessori Society as an Elementary I Educator. In both reading and math, I strive to use evidence-based methods to move the needle on your child's academic progress. I use targeted assessments to pinpoint the exact areas of growth that will help your child succeed. I use research-based programs like OG-based UFLI Foundations with children growing in their phonics and spelling skills. I have a wealth of resources to children and their families, including a large decodable reader library and Montessori math manipulatives. I prefer to teach at my apartment near Sheridan and Lawrence where I have all my resources for children on hand. Alternatively, I can meet at Bezazian Library or your home depending on location
