About Dana

Dana is an amazing person in so many ways. She has been a school teacher, a school administrator, and an Outward Bound instructor; all professions in which she worked with a variety of children. Her communication skills and organizational skills are excellent. When Dana was an Outward Bound instructor, I witnessed her behavioral management skills as she led a group of students through a specific process for problem solving. I was so impressed, I asked Dana to teach me the process to use with students in my classroom. She has a gift for getting to know a child's needs and responding appropriately. Dana has what I call a 'good head on her shoulders'. She is dependable and dedicated to her students and forms wonderful relationships through patience and love. Dana is fluent in Spanish which has allowed her to overcome a language barrier with many students. I would highly recommend Dana for positions in tutoring, teaching lessons, and caring for children of all ages.
