About Dana

I am a homeschool educator, experienced tutor and academic coach with a passion for fostering confident, curious and independent learners. With a Master's in Social Work, I bridge the gap between academic success and emotional well-being. I have a decade of experience as a college level academic counselor working with students with disabilities including ADHD, LD, ASD and more. In that role, I spearheaded a bridge program to help students make a smooth transition into college. Whether your child is beginning their academic journey or preparing for the transition to college, I take a patient, strength-based approach to support their individualized needs. I do not just give answers; I teach strategies. My offerings include: foundational reading, writing, and/or math lessons; executive function coaching tailored to student needs; prep sessions for students about to make the transition from high school to college; and personalized academic coaching sessions for current college students.
