About Danae

Hello! I am Danae and I have a BFA in creative and professional writing. I have 2 years of tutoring experience at my college's writing center, 2 years of experience K-12 tutoring at Huntington Learning Center, and 2 years of experience running my own tutoring company. I have also helped many adults write their personal statements for law school, and helped adults returning to college through their writing courses. I am trained in prepping students for the English and Reading sections of the ACT. I personally have a 29 in English and 32 in Reading. I was homeschooled from 6th grade to 12th grade, and had many tutors throughout my education. This showed me how transformative one-on-one learning can be. Having tutors that understood my ADHD and how I learned best was amazing! It is always so fulfilling when I can now do the same for other learners!
