Hi, I'm Dalainee! My passion has always been working with children, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and have tons of fun along the way! I hold a bachelor's degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Hawaii, and I'm currently pursuing an online master's in Educational Theory and Practice. I have experience as a babysitter for wonderful families, a school teacher, youth swim instructor, camp counselor, tutor, Special Olympics volunteer, and after-school program caregiver. These experiences have given me a strong background in creating engaging, nurturing, and inclusive environments for kids of all ages and abilities. When I'm not teaching or working with children, I love hiking, baking, painting, and making jewelry. These activities I often love to share with the kids I work with! Dalainee is fantastic! Her sweet spirit, incredible communication, and genuine care for our 3-year-old son were impeccable. She immediately made him feel comfortable and safe, which is no small task for a little one meeting someone new. She kept us updated throughout the evening each time she worked with us, was punctual and professional, and went above and beyond.
