Hello! My name is Dakota and I recently became a stay-at-home mom. I left my teaching job after 7 years to stay home with my 9-month-old son. I spent four years teaching 1st grade and three years teaching a 5/6 multiage class. My degree is in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Language Arts. While teaching the 5/6 multiage class, I taught the 5th grade math and really enjoyed it! I am excited to help students better understand their work and help them work through learning difficulties.
