About Daja

Hello! I am currently a full-time student pursuing my degree in Education. Working with children has always been a passion of mine, and over the past 6 years I have gained experience caring for children of all ages. My background includes working as a Lead Teacher at a daycare, nannying both a newborn and toddler, working as a PCT on a pediatric hospital floor, and currently serving as a substitute teacher for the Special School District of St. Louis. These experiences, along with my coursework in education and child development, have helped me develop a nurturing, patient, and attentive approach to childcare. I am caring, dependable, energetic, and approachable, and I strive to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment where children feel encouraged to grow. I'm also comfortable assisting with meal prep, routines, crafts, educational activities, and light housekeeping. My goal is to provide reliable, high-quality care while becoming a trusted support for your family.
