About Emily

I love working with children and helping them feel safe, supported, and understood. It's meaningful to be part of their growth through play, learning, and emotional support while creating a calm, positive environment for both kids and parents. I've been caring for children since I was 16 and currently work as a teacher assistant in an early childhood special education classroom. I support children with a range of needs including behavior support, routines, learning activities, social-emotional development, and small groups. I am currently in the process of becoming an elementary school teacher. I have hands-on classroom experience and strong skills in patience, behavior support, routines, and working with children of different needs and abilities. I am calm under pressure, dependable, and focused on keeping kids safe and supported. I am looking for a part-time position in July, with full-time availability for the first two weeks of August.
